Ramp for Champs, a cause based celebrity fashion show by Smile Foundation, is a continuous fund raising effort to educate less privileged children. The show brings together people from different walks of the lives and the children studying at Mission Education centers of Smile Foundation.
The motivation for Ramp for Champs comes from the need to sensitize and engage the civil society proactively to bring meaningful change in the lives of these underprivileged children, by supporting their education.
Celebrities are involved in the event as they have the power to influence the masses, whereas corporate are involved for their strength of resources. It was felt that a fusion of these two forces would create a huge and much required impact towards the cause of education of more and more underprivileged children. Children are the main highlight of the show wherein they share their aspirations and walk the ramp in confidence matching steps with the famous personalities.
